At Gatwick airport in jjb sports good to see the club finally woken up to selling it in other places.
Saw it in lilywhites yesterday at picadilly circus for £45 according to bloke working there selling very well.

This is good to see, the away shirt wasn't at Gatwick a month ago but can't remember the release date so perhaps it wasn't out or they hadn't ordered it yet.

I bought my 02/03 kit from Lillywhites in Bromley back in the day. Used to be a decent sports shop with a bit of class till Ashley and Sports Direct got their hands on it and ruined the brand. Surprised he hasn't rebranded the Piccadilly store, I imagine its the last one?

Just got my shirt from Sports Direct.
The sponsor named is ironed on and seems a bit cheap and nasty. I reckon 2 washes and it'll be peeling off.
They need to sew them on again, or are they worried they'll go bust too?

Use to love going Lilywhites cricket section and trying the bats out. Had a pukka range back in the day

There was a time when I wouldn't have even been let into Lillywhites.

Absolutely. As well as all us young herberts getting kitted out in the latest clobber you'd have celebs like Roger Moore bowling in for his tennis gear. It was the top sports shop for the great and good.

Went in there a few years back and it was just like any Sports Direct, full of Eastern Europeans loading up on ten packs of Donnay sports socks. Tragic.

I can remember in the 80s when Lillywhites was the place to go to buy the latest trainers.

Was a great store

Re: Away shirt on sale
Lilywhites is owned by Ashley which is why it's selling for the same price as Sports Direct.
